Bio
Professor, hotel administration; Ph.D. University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Former chief mortgage economist of the U.S. Federal Reserve Board, his research interests include empirical auction models, financial securitization, commercial mortgage default, mortgage markets, and real estate financing. He is also an active editorial board member for Journal of Real Estate Research and International Real Estate Review. He teaches courses on securitization and structured financial products, a seminar on advanced topics in real estate finance, and a course on hospitality real estate finance.
